Six ready-to-use prompts for Kling, Runway, Hailuo or Veo: copy one, add a photo of your car and generate. Or skip the prompt and make it here with one photo.

Traffic jam takeoff

Vertical 9:16, 10-15 s. The classic flying car clip.

Photorealistic vertical 9:16 video, 15 seconds. Use the uploaded photo as the car: keep its exact colour, body shape, wheels and lights. A sunny downtown avenue packed with stopped cars. 0-3s: the car sits stuck in the traffic jam, brake lights on. 3-6s: blue thrusters ignite under the car, white vapor blasts onto the road. 6-10s: the car lifts straight up out of its lane, level and stable, rising above the stopped cars. 10-15s: wide aerial shot as it glides over the jammed avenue toward the skyline. No people, no readable license plates, no text, no logos. Sound: traffic and horns, then a rising jet whoosh.

Ramp flip (the demo stunt)

Widescreen 16:9, 12-15 s. Closest to the October 2026 demo.

Photorealistic widescreen 16:9 stunt video, 15 seconds. Use the uploaded photo as the car and keep its shape and colour in every shot. A concrete test track with a tall curved quarter-pipe ramp and a lineup of parked cars. 0-3s: side tracking shot as the car accelerates toward the ramp. 3-6s: it drives up the curved wall on all four wheels and launches off the lip. 6-10s: high above the parked cars it does one smooth full barrel roll, small white thruster puffs controlling the roll. 10-15s: it hovers briefly on white vapor jets and lands gently on four wheels in a cloud of vapor; hold a wide hero shot. Natural physics, no extra wheels, no people, no text.

Stuck in power lines (your city)

Vertical 9:16. Swap [CITY] for India, Karachi, Bangkok, Dhaka, Hanoi or Lagos.

Photorealistic vertical 9:16 handheld street video, 15 seconds. Use the uploaded photo as the car and keep it consistent. A crowded street in [CITY] on a hazy afternoon, poles carrying huge knotted bundles of black cables right above the road. 0-3s: the car is stuck in gridlock between local rickshaws, buses and motorbikes. 3-6s: blue thrusters ignite and the car lifts straight up. 6-11s: a few metres up it flies into the tangle of cables, which drape over the roof and snag the mirrors; it hangs there bobbing. 11-15s: wide shot from the street of the car dangling harmlessly in the sagging wires. Comedic tone, no crash, no fire, no injuries, no recognizable faces, no readable plates. Sound: honking and engines, a thruster whoosh, cables creaking.

Photorealistic widescreen 16:9 action-comedy video, 15 seconds. Use the uploaded photo as the car and keep it consistent. Family-friendly, no crash, no weapons, no recognizable faces, no on-screen text. Sound: sirens, rotor, a rising whoosh.

Time travel to 1955

Widescreen 16:9. Lightning, fire trails and a 1950s main street.

Photorealistic widescreen 16:9 cinematic video, 15 seconds. Use the uploaded photo as the car and keep it consistent. 0-4s: at night the car speeds across an empty modern parking lot. 4-7s: blue-white lightning wraps around the car and it vanishes in a bright flash, leaving two straight trails of fire on the asphalt. 7-11s: it reappears on a sunny 1955 small-town main street with 1950s cars, a diner and old gas pumps, warm vintage film colour and grain. 11-15s: wide shot of the car parked on the main street. No people in focus, no famous movie cars or characters, no text.

Vertical 9:16. The Nigerian version of the trend.

Photorealistic vertical 9:16 video, 15 seconds. Use the uploaded photo as the car and keep its shape and colour. People only small and far away, no readable plates, no text. Sound: honking, danfo engines, a jet whoosh.

How to write a flying car prompt that works

  • Lock the car to your photo. Say "use the uploaded photo as the car, keep its colour, body shape and wheels in every shot". Brand names do not help; the photo does.
  • Write a timeline. Split the clip into beats (0-3s, 3-6s…): where it starts, when thrusters fire, what it does in the air, the closing wide shot.
  • One car, one action. A takeoff or a flip, not both. Busy prompts make the car melt mid-air.
  • Keep the camera at the side. Side and three-quarter angles hold the shape; shots from underneath are where most models break.
  • Say what you do not want. No extra wheels, no people, no readable plates, no text or logos.
  • Ask for sound. Traffic, a thruster whoosh, a landing hiss. Avoid naming songs.

Settings for each tool

Use image-to-video with your car photo as the first frame or reference. Pick 9:16 for TikTok and Reels and 16:9 for the ramp flip. Longer clips (10-15 seconds) give the takeoff room to breathe; shorter ones cut the flight. Generate two or three takes and keep the one where the car stays closest to your photo.

When to skip the prompt

If you just want your own car in the trend, writing and retrying prompts is the slow way. Our scenes are already written and tuned for one car photo: $6.99 for one video or $14.99 for three takes, with no account and no credits. More scenes: stuck in power lines, police chase, Roadster flip and flying Tesla in Lagos. Comparing tools? See the best flying car AI video generators.

Questions and answers

What is the best prompt for a flying car AI video?

Describe one car, one action and a clear timeline: where the car starts, the moment thrusters fire, what it does in the air and the final wide shot. Tell the model to keep the car from your photo consistent, and list what you do not want (extra wheels, people, text, plates). The six prompts on this page follow that pattern.

Which AI video tool should I paste the prompt into?

Any image-to-video model that accepts a photo plus text, such as Kling, Runway, Hailuo or Veo. Set the aspect ratio and length to match the prompt (9:16 for TikTok and Reels, 16:9 for the ramp flip). Expect to retry a few times; general models often change the car shape mid-flight.

Can I use these prompts for my own videos?

Yes. Copy, edit and use them in any tool. They are written for this page and are not the exact prompts our own generator uses.

Why does my car change shape in the video?

Usually the photo or the prompt. Use a daylight side or front three-quarter photo of the whole car, ask the model to keep the paint, body shape and wheels in every shot, keep the camera at a side angle and avoid shots from directly underneath. Fewer, simpler actions help.

Is there a flying Tesla prompt?

Use the traffic takeoff or ramp flip prompt with a photo of your Tesla. Prompts that name a brand do not make the car more accurate; the uploaded photo does. This site is not affiliated with Tesla.

Can I skip the prompt?

Yes. Pick a scene below, upload one photo of your car and pay once: you get a finished 15-second 720p video with sound by email, no prompt and no account.
